Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This policy explains how the website https://krakowlegacytours.pl ("Website") uses cookies and similar technologies. It applies together with our Privacy Policy. The controller is the service provider named in Section 1 of our Terms & Conditions (Krakow Legacy Tours, contact: info@eltours.com).

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in a comparable way. Under Art. 399 of the Polish Act of 12 July 2024 – Electronic Communications Law (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej), information may be stored on or read from your device only after you have been clearly informed and have given your consent — except where this is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for.

2. The cookies we use

CategoryWhat and whyDurationConsent
Strictly necessary klt_cookie_consent (browser local storage) — remembers your cookie choice so the banner isn't shown on every page. 12 months Not required (necessary to respect your choice)
Analytics (optional) Google Analytics 4 cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> — count visits and show which pages are read and how visitors find the Website, in aggregate, so we can improve it. They are set only if you click "Accept all" or switch Analytics on in the settings. Up to 2 years Required — off until you agree

We do not use advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not embed third-party maps or videos. Fonts, photos and video are hosted on our own server, so loading the Website does not by itself send your data to Google or other third parties.

3. Google Analytics

If you consent, the Website uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of protection. Analytics data is kept for [14] months, after which Google deletes it. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). More information: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

The Website uses Google's "Consent Mode": until you accept analytics cookies, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all.

4. Giving, refusing and withdrawing consent

On your first visit a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or choose in Settings. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the Website works fully either way. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — easily and free of charge — using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page or the button above. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal; when you withdraw, we delete the analytics cookies set on our domain.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (usually under "Privacy" or "Security"). Help pages: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

5. Your rights

You have the rights described in our Privacy Policy, including access, erasure, and the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

6. Changes

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this policy and, where new consent is needed, ask you again through the banner.
